Educational benefits of playful creativity

Ostheimer figures are made of wood and, thanks to their sturdy workmanship, are well suited for regular use in families and kindergartens. The handcrafted Ostheimer wooden figures create an environment that encourages children to freely develop their imagination. They promote haptic learning through their soft, natural shapes that stimulate the sense of touch. These toys are particularly valuable in Waldorf education as they support free play and creativity. Ostheimer figures offer children the opportunity to develop their imagination through creative play and have lots of fun at the same time.

These handcrafted wooden figures not only encourage free play, but also stimulate thinking and imagination, which is crucial for children's development. Children can create varied scenarios with the numerous figures in this wooden toy and immerse themselves again and again in imaginative play worlds. The soft feel and restrained color scheme of the Ostheimer figures not only encourage imagination, but also creativity.

Making and materials of the Ostheimer horse stable

Each figure is made by hand according to a fixed pattern with great care to preserve the natural beauty of the wood. The hand-applied paints are free from animal ingredients and are perfectly suited to the Ostheimer design. The final oil provides lasting protection for the colors. With transparent colors that allow the wood grain to shine through, each piece has its own unique character.

Warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years of age, as small parts may become detached or broken off and swallowed.
