Educational value and imaginative play

They are also valuable in Waldorf education, as they support the child's natural development. Compared to other toys, they create a warm, natural atmosphere and offer a haptic experience. Ostheimer wooden figures and wooden animals are characterized by their soft, child-friendly shapes, which train the sense of touch and contribute to the development of the imagination. They encourage free, creative play and invite children to re-enact stories and scenes from everyday life. This not only promotes creative thinking, but also social interaction. Ostheimer figures encourage children to discover and develop their creative side through imaginative play.

They create an ideal environment for inventing stories and immersing themselves in role play. Children can create varied scenarios with the numerous figures in this wooden toy and immerse themselves again and again in imaginative play worlds. The soft feel and restrained color scheme of the Ostheimer figures not only encourage imagination, but also creativity.

Manufacture and materials of the Ostheimer Collie

The oil protects the colors. Thanks to the transparent colors, the wood grain remains visible, making each piece unique. All colors used are without animal ingredients and precisely matched to the Ostheimer design. Each figure is handcrafted with precision according to a defined pattern, giving the wood its unique appearance.

Warning: Warning! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age, as small parts can be detached or broken off and swallowed.
