Discover the world through play

Ostheimer figures such as the koala open up new perspectives for children. They get to know animals from other habitats and playfully experience how diverse nature is. The soft shapes encourage storytelling without overloading - just right for children's play, which goes its own way.

Craftsmanship

Like all Ostheimer figures, the koala is made from local maple wood. The grain of the wood remains visible thanks to the transparent coloring. Careful handwork and an oil make each figure a small work of art and a robust, valuable toy.

Warning note: Caution! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age, as small parts can be detached or broken off and swallowed.

The Ostheimer company

For generations, Ostheimer has been carefully handcrafting figures that touch children's hearts and bring their imagination to life. Lovingly designed unique pieces are created from local wood, which radiate warmth and security. Each figurine reflects respect for nature, the joy of traditional craftsmanship and the conviction that simple, natural toys open up space for free, creative play.
Ostheimer combines proven values with timeless beauty and childlike poetry.

Tradition since 1939

Ostheimer's roots go back to the year 1939. What was once founded by Margarete Ostheimer in the spirit of Waldorf education is still continued today with care and dedication. Over many decades, Ostheimer has developed into a byword for high-quality wooden toys. Each figure not only tells stories in children's play, but also the story of a family business that manufactures with heart and hand.
