Welche Farben/Öle werden verwendet?
Wasserbasierte, speichelfeste Farben; zum Schutz geölt (überwiegend pflanzliche Öle, z. B. Rizinusöl). Auch Burgen/Häuser werden geölt.

Kann man Figuren reparieren?
Ja, kleine Schäden lassen sich oft zu Hause ausbessern; für größere Defekte lohnt eine fachkundige Reparaturanfrage.

Alle Standardfiguren sind untereinander passend, jedoch nicht maßstabsgetreu. Ausnahme: MINI-Krippen & MINI-Krippenfiguren sind nur innerhalb der MINI-Serie kombinierbar.

Kann ich einzelne Figuren nachkaufen?
Ja, viele Figuren bleiben lang im Sortiment und lassen sich einzeln ergänzen oder ersetzen.

Die Figuren bestehen aus Holz und werden mit wasserbasierten Farben/Ölen behandelt; Modelle mit Lederband sind die Ausnahme.

Wo wird Ostheimer hergestellt?
Vorwiegend in Deutschland (Zell unter Aichelberg). Einzelne Produktlinien entstehen in Partnerbetrieben u. a. in Polen und Bosnien; die Etiketten nennen das Herstellerland. Es besteht zudem eine Zusammenarbeit mit einem Sägebetrieb in Ungarn.

Woher kommen die Krippenfiguren?
Die Krippenfiguren werden vorwiegend in Zell unter Aichelberg gefertigt.
